5 Nigerian startup ventures have been selected amongst 7 other African countries to attend the latest virtual Pitch Live edition taking place 20-22nd October, 2020 at Africa Tech Summit in Kigali, Rwanda.

Disrupt Africa and Africa Tech Summit reprised their partnership to power startup-focused sessions and pitching opportunities at Africa Tech Summit Connects set to be virtual via mobile app and desktop.

Africa Tech Summit in that light, announced it was open to receiving applications to the latest edition of Pitch Live, adding that they would give 15 startups the chance to present their solutions to an audience of 500 investors, corporates and stakeholders.

Applications were received from ventures across Africa which were looking to raise either Pre-seed, Seed or Series A funding and 12 startups were selected to take part at the virtual event.

The 12 startups selected are listed below;

2. Medisaf (Nigeria) – Pharmaceuticals
3. Wella Health (Nigeria) – Health Insurance
4. Vybe (Nigeria) – Online Dating
5. Scrapays (Nigeria) – Recycle
6. Agro Innova (Ghana) – Farmers Marketplace
7. Snode (South Africa) – Cybersecurity
8. PayDunya (Senegal) – Digital Payment
9. Moja Ride (Ivory Coast) – Mobility
10. Eneza Telecom (Kenya) – ERP solutions for SMEs
11. Kolute Systems (Senegal) – WhatsApp E-commerce Chatbot
12. Abiria (Kenya) – easy payment service for public transport fares
